Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara

  • Travel options:
    • Tourist bus: 200 km / 6 to 7 hours of scenic drive
    • Flight: 30-minute journey with breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas
  • Altitude: 820m

Day 02: Pokhara to Ulleri (2,050m) by private vehicle (2-hour drive), then trek to Banthanti (2,210m) – 5 to 6 hours

  • Drive through beautiful landscapes, then trek through lush forests and charming villages.

Day 03: Banthanti to Ghorepani (2,860m) – 4 to 5 hours

  • Trek through dense rhododendron forests, listening to the melodious sounds of birds and flowing rivers.

Day 04: Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m) – 1-hour climb, then trek to Tadapani (2,630m) – 4 to 5 hours

  • Early morning hike to Poon Hill for a stunning sunrise over the Himalayas.
  • Enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks.

Day 05: Tadapani to Chomrong (2,170m) – 5 to 6 hours

  • Walk through rhododendron forests and traditional Gurung villages.
  • Cross Kimrong Khola (a large river) with gradual ascents and descents.

Day 06: Chomrong to Dovan (2,600m) – 5 to 6 hours

  • Ascend to Sinuwa (2,360m), then descend to Bamboo (2,310m).
  • Continue uphill to Dovan through dense forests.

Day 07: Dovan to Deurali (3,230m) – 4 to 5 hours

  • Trek through lush forests and rocky landscapes, gradually gaining altitude.

Day 08: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

  • Reach the main destination of this trek, where you will be completely surrounded by the Annapurna Himalayas.

Day 09: Annapurna Base Camp to Deurali (3,230m) – 5 to 6 hours

  • Enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna I, III, and South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and the massive Annapurna Glacier.

Day 10: Deurali to Chomrong – 5 to 6 hours

  • Trek back through familiar trails, descending towards Chomrong village.

Day 11: Chomrong to Jhinu Danda (1,780m) – 3 hours, then drive to Pokhara (3 hours)

  • Short trek to Jhinu Danda, where you can enjoy natural hot springs.
  • Drive back to Pokhara.

Day 12: Explore Pokhara

  • Sightseeing tour of Pokhara, including Phewa Lake, Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, and World Peace Pagoda.

Day 13: Return to Kathmandu

  • Tourist bus: 7-hour scenic drive
  • Flight option: 30 minutes
